Leitura de obra A estética do ensaio remete ao Renascimento, buscando a perfeição. No entanto, as cores e elementos contrastam, criando uma beleza triste que associa o sentir a algo não estético. A obra pode ser compreendida tanto de forma individual quanto em série, como detalharei a seguir. O hematoma na perna da mulher representa o defeito que a sociedade espera que seja eliminado. Os tons de cinza que o cercam contrastam com as cores que representam como se ali tivesse um coração pulsante de vida que a mulher tenta segurar, como se existisse uma batalha entre a vida e a objetificação. A proposta de trazer o plástico fazendo referência às estátuas é contestar a artificialidade que existe hoje no conceito de beleza, no que seria uma representação de Vênus para a sociedade, num contraste que tenta mostrar que o sentimento não é estético numa triste beleza que reprime a essência. Trazendo um vermelho na mão para representar as agressões que nós mulheres fazemos para “combinar” com o que a sociedade nos impõe. A proposta dessas fotos é apresentar a pressão que as redes sociais impõem e em um contraste de como a mulher se sente para que ela se pareça com o que vê, ao mesmo tempo trazendo a artificialidade que existe ali, essas fotos conversam com a última foto que representa o que vo cê vê enquanto a última representa que você sente. Essa foto representa como as redes sociais e esses parâmetros de beleza nos tornam reféns de um padrão inalcançável que nos deixa sem vida O objetivo dessa foto foi fazer uma referência ao conceito de beleza que é imposto às mulheres, o que possibilita ter um véu entre o que é real e o que é esse ideal que se vende como referência. O véu também é uma representação das redes sociais, o que provoca uma divisão entre a realidade e o que é mostrado. Essa foto conversa com as fotos anteriores onde mostra como a pessoa se sente e como ela se parece.
